We promoted Food for Hungry Families, and Mental illness Awareness at the NAMI walkathon at Jones Beach. Our new partner, Long Island Cares, brought their truck and picked up the food donated by
over 1500 walkers. This food will be distributed to their network of almost 600 food pantries.I spoke at the walkathon about Neil’s courage and how thankful I am that his former school helped me start http://www.neilswheelsny.com.
